Turner ( Programmer, Setter, Operator )

We are looking for a CNC Turner, Programmer, Setter, Operator to join Gase on a full time basis, 40 hours per week, with overtime available. With over 45 years experience in high speed machining, fabrication and welding of aluminium, stainless steel and plastics, we support OEM customers across Aerospace, Defence, Marine, Nuclear and Telecommunications, delivering both prototype and production work to demanding standards.

This role focuses on CNC turning, including Y axis driven tooling. You will be responsible for programming, setting and operating the machine, carrying out online programming using MAPPS. Experience with MAPPS and CAPS is preferred but not essential, as the right candidate will be supported to develop. You must be confident reading and working from engineering drawings, and have a good working knowledge of cutting tools, speeds and feeds to achieve quality parts and on time delivery.
