Code of Ethics

Our Code of Ethics sets out the standards we expect from everyone at Gase. It guides how we work with each other, how we support our customers, and how we protect the quality and safety of what we produce. We aim to do the right thing every day, take pride in our work, and treat people fairly and with respect.

These principles cover honesty and integrity, dependability and follow through, right first time accuracy with no waste, good leadership and teamwork, good manners, strong attendance and timekeeping, and pride and productivity in everything we do. We also support open and honest reporting, anyone who raises a genuine concern in the public interest will be protected in line with our whistleblowing policy.

Honesty and Integrity

Base actions on a personal set of values. Follow the rules even when supervisors are not present.

Dependability/ Follow Through

Work diligently to complete tasks, alert supervisor to problems or delays so there are no surprises about work not being done.

Accuracy of Work/ No Waste

Be careful and avoid mistakes; if mistakes are made, correct the errors; be proud of work well done; hold high standards, always aim to complete all tasks Right First Time every time.

Leadership

In order to be more successful with the change process we take into consideration the Human element of a system that supports creating safe and high quality products.

Good Manners

Always show courtesy and respect towards other people. Address colleagues without discrimination in a calm and non-confrontational manner.

Good Attendance/ On Time

Keep the mind on work (avoid external distraction); suggest improvement; be ready to begin work on time.

Pride & Productivity in Work

Show initiative; be ambitious; figure out how to get the job done; work as efficiently as possible to get the job well done.

Disclosure

All our personnel are protected from suffering any detriment or termination of employment if they make a Qualifying disclosure where the worker reasonably believes (and it is in the public interest) that one or more of the following matters is either happening, has taken place, or is likely to happen in the future as stated in the company’s whistle blowing policy.
